What I do

I work in a variety of mediums, depending on what imagery I want to convey. Currently my work includes encaustic paintings, relief printmaking, and acrylic painting.

Ten professional artists mentored 20 Jefferson High School students to create a varied show of the students' and artists' work. I worked with two youth in creating a variety of Encaustic collages and paintings!

Join me in this exciting and FREE two-day artwalk of artists all throughout SE Portland! I will a wide variety of NEW original encaustic collages, paintings, prints and more!

Enjoy 3.5 hours of creative class time exploring collage using rich smelling beeswax, handmade papers, fabric, thread, and more to create rich, lush, transparent collages! All supplies included in a quiet, intimate setting (only 5 students per class!) ($70)

Encaustics 101-

Paint with Wax

This class focuses on painting with beeswax on wood and paper. Make your own paint, learn about tools and history, and explore this wonderful medium with education in layering, scraping, texture, collage, incising, and more! MAX 5 students ($70)
